It is a pleasure to be in the cover-story of the Italian ceramic magazine. “la Ceramica Moderna & Antica”. The editor gave me the opportunity to tell my story and my art concept. On the cover it is portrayed my piece, named “Cubo II”, which is part of my new art direction FIGULINAE.

The article was written by Domenico Iaracà, who goes back to the beginning of my ceramic life, from my studies in Florence and at the Goldsmiths College in London. In my new work FIGULINAE the compressions of the small vases into a well-defined form, connect a plurality of individuals. So my aim is, not the re-proposal of the cold homologation in regular forms, but the tension of forces and the balances that interact between the components.
